I fully agree: It should be as simple as possible. This also applies to a fund manager or a content creator in the asset management area.
That’s why I’m working on the Fund Page Builder. The Fund Page Builder allows you to select one, two or any number of funds to be displayed on your Fund Page and create a Fund Page containing those funds with just one click. The video in the blog section is a small preview of my working version. It’s just a proof of concept, but it basically shows what I’m trying to acchieve. Additionally I’m going to add filters so you can create a Fund Page that always has the six, ten, or whatever the best performing YTD funds, or per month or … whatever. Or just funds that comply with local laws in Germany.
So this is basically the Fund Builder:
A tool for creating Fund Pages with Funds that can be selected according to various criteria.
But what exactly does it create?
The builder creates two parts:
- First it builds and host a WordPress instance for you which makes it easy to add content and to design your Fund Page. I choose WordPress because… hey it’s clear, isn’t it. It is believed that 40% of all websites are run on WordPress, and there is a reason. However WordPress is a server- based CMS. And your Fund Page should always be up and running without relying on a server.
- So a modern static web page is created for you which is provided on a CDN. This makes visiting your website a blazing fast experience and adds the possibility to invest directly across mutiple web3 wallets. In the future I will add the possibility to provide directly on the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) making your Fund Page as decentralized as possible.
I said I want to help others to contribute. And that is how I want to do this.
I will be making the source code for creating these Gatsby websites open source and inviting everyone out there who wants to help me build cool fund pages to contribute.
